The amount of food in each set menu is very small, the beef was pathetic, the fish roe rice didn't have as much roe as in the photos, the salmon pieces were fried like firewood with some pepper sprinkled on top, and we ended up eating almost soy sauce on rice. We stopped here for lunch on our day in Nara. About a 1 minute walk from the Kintetsu Nara Station. We ordered the lunch specials - one that changes daily (hugawari teishoku) and one that features fish (sakana teishoku). The value was incredible - huge portion with sides for 1000 yen each.
