I happened to eat here because I was staying at the nearby Osaka View Hotel Hommachi. As a foreign visitor and on my first night in Japan, I was hesitant how to order as I can sense the team wasn’t very comfortable in English. Fortunately, we were able to call their attention with a simple “sumimasen” and place order by simply pointing at the menu. There was some difficulty communicating when it came to out of stock items, but not their fault of course. I’m just glad we were not turned away and that the l was affordable, delicious and hearty.
