The best ramen I've had in Japan so far! (Still have Tokyo to go at the time of writing this review). We got in quite late - lovely Izakaya vibes. Ordered quite easily off the coin machine, easy to use even for foreigners. The service was quick! I opted for the Salt based ramen and a draught beer. The beer was served in an ice cold glass, perfect, and the ramen looked stunning. The taste was superb, so good. My first meal on my recent trip to Osaka was at 一夢庵麺, where I opted for the miso ramen set with a mini fried chicken rice bowl.

The broth was beautifully velvety and indulgent, each spoonful packed with richness, warmth, and a deeply satisfying depth of flavour. The karaage was crispy on the outside while remaining tender and juicy inside. After finishing my ramen, I mixed the rice into the remaining broth, creating an delicious combination.

The owner and staff were warm and welcoming, even checking if I had enjoyed my meal once I was done. And...

Delicious food. You order at the coin machine first and then sit and give the tickets to the man behind the counter. It’s a one man show but he’s very fast and nice. Ramen is incredible. I got the spicy miso and finished all of it which is unlike me. It already comes with mushroom and seaweed I think so only get the additional toppings for those items if you want extra of either one. Seaweed needs to be added with additional topping. Gyoza, fried chicken and soy sauce ramen also good but spicy miso...
