漁港直送漁師小屋 新世界 漁師小屋1号店 — Restaurant in Osaka

Decided to give this place a try despite seeing some negative reviews but unfortunately this restaurant did live up to its negative reviews. We ordered mix sashimi but it was very obvious that the salmon sashimi was not the fresh type (color looks a bit like smoked salmon). Kani miso also smelt super fishy, definitely not fresh at all. Grilled abalone was also overcooked - tough & chewy. Can’t help but to notice that the kitchen were barely proper as the other cooked food were either frozen food fried or microwaved. Nevertheless, the staffs were courteous although 1 of our order was missed out even though the shop was super empty with only 1-2 table...

Disappointed that we were suddenly served 3 tiny dishes of appetisers and had to pay ¥200 per. When I say tiny, its like the size of a soy sauce mini saucer. Staffs had v poor command of English, can barely call it kindergarten level. As we tried to ask what are the item stated on the menu (the description on the english menu was wrong) but nobody can tell us exactly what is the item. The prices stated is also before the 10% tax which will be added in the total bill....

The service is excellent, foods are good yet yummy- you get almost all the local foods here the Beer Suntory is good cooling utmost at this hot weather. The waitress she is so awesome and pric is reasonable- we got our grilled oysters, scallop, fried octopus, takoyoki.. we re too starving as such lastly only has this...
