5 stars! Amazing Cheese Dakgalbi and Fantastic Service!

This place is a hidden gem! I had the most delicious cheese dakgalbi here. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the sauce had a fantastic kick (but not overwhelming!), and the cheese was like the melty, gooey icing on the cake (or should I say, dakgalbi?).

Now, even though my Japanese is pretty much non-existent, the staff here were absolutely amazing. They were super patient and kind, even with my fumbling attempts at communication. They took the time to explain the whole cheese dakgalbi experience, from how to cook it at the table to the best way to enjoy the cheesy goodness. It made the whole dining experience so much more enjoyable and stress-free.

Overall, this place gets a big thumbs up from me. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an incredible cheese dakgalbi and fantastic service, even if you don't speak a word...

Wir waren für ein Abendessen hier. Ich hatte wieder mal Lust auf Fleisch vom Grill. In Tokyo war ich in einem japanischen Restaurant welches auf einem Lava-Grill etwas ähnliches anbot. Beim durchqueren der Mall habe ich per Zufall diese koreanische Variante davon mit Kohle Grill entdeckt. Also machte ich eine Reservierung.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Die Karte gibt's elektronisch in englisch (per QR Code online) oder man nutzt so wie wir die Übersetzungsapp von Google. Funktioniert ganz gut. Das Personal kann ein wenig englisch aber sich da gilt: mit Händen, Füssen und mit der App klappt die Kommunikation gut. Und das Personal ist auch sehr herzlich und auch geduldig mit uns Touristen.

Wir bestellten den Grillteller mit Wagyu. Eine hervorragende Wahl. Nicht ganz günstig, aber was man dafür bekommt ist grandios. Von Vorspeisen, über beilagen, genügend Fleisch für den Grill bis zum Dessert ist alles dabei. Und ich bin mir sicher, dass ich als Europäer einiges falsch gemacht habe aber es war super lecker. Und wenn man unsicher ist, kann man auch jemanden vom Personal fragen da wird einem schon erklärt was wie gegessen wird. Da empfehle ich jedem Touristen einfach etwas mit zu haben und sich mal solche tolle Dinge auszuprobieren.

Über jedem Tisch gibt es einen Abzug. Das hat einen grossen Vorteil: der Raum riecht nicht wie eine Grill Bude sondern wie ein normales Restaurant. Für spritzen gibt es extra noch einen Spritz-Schutz zum umhängen. Da muss man also auch keine sorgen haben wenn es nach dem essen noch etwas weiter mit dem Abendprogramm geht.

Würde ich nochmals hingehen? Ja klar auf jeden Fall. Ich empfehle dieses Lokal jedem, der mal was anderes erleben mag. Hier ist es gut für ein geselliges Abendessen mit einem gewissen Spassfaktor.

Und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis? Ich fand es persönlich hervorragend. Tolles Essen, tolle Atmosphäre und genau so tolles und...

At first, I was kinda struggling a little bit because it was my first time in Japan. Then, a friendly guy with glasses approached us and directed us straight to the number 1 spot. I thought he didn't speak any English at all, so I tried some of the broken Japanese I've learned before arriving here. Luckily, he's a foreigner as well 😁, so there was no problem. He recommended the dalgabi to us, and it was so tasty and flavorful. Some were too spicy 🥵 The ambiance is so comfortable and calm!! I'm going to give this restaurant a solid 8.5/10 for the service, the food, and the atmosphere Im gonna be here again...
