After an absolute fun fuelled adventure to Universal Studios we needed to revitalise our spirit and soul with some food and what better thing than a nice HOT bowl of ramen 🤤
We stumbled across Uroko Ramen and were hypnotised by the ramen chefs as we peered through the open window overlooking the kitchen. We ended up accidentally ordering the same item 🤣 but that’s okay because this huge bowl of Ajitama Tamari Shoyu Ramen was topped with mouth watering pieces of chashu, beautifully soy marinated egg, bonito flakes and of course a WHOLE heap of grunions!!! 🤩 These ingredients were tied together with a rich and DELICIOUS soy sauce base.
Every bite we took sent waves across our body bringing us back to life BITE by BITE; the ramen was good but it did not BLOW our minds out of this world 🤯 A typically good ramen you could find almost anywhere on the streets of Japan 🫡
The gyoza was crispy and juicy inside. Nothing to fault about them!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/6

Read moreAn ok shouyu ramen with two big negatives
The quantity is small for the price compared to other places, if you’re not so hungry, maybe not a big problem and I know inflation has also hit Japan too but there are still cheaper better options for my tastes at least especially at this price point (¥950)
Most Japanese base ramen quality off the noodles first, which makes sense and the noodles were actually good but for me the chashu is also an important component, here the chashu was almost nonexistent and more like thinly shaved ham or shabushabu than anything remotely delicious typical ramen style chashu
Others have said the shio ramen was better, but that still wouldn’t change these two points as the shouyu broth and noodles weren’t bad, just over priced and small
Give it a go if you have money to burn, just don’t be super hungry when you do
Personally still prefer a good Tonkotsu ramen 1000% over...
Read moreThis ramen place is perfectly situated in the middle of three shopping malls, with plenty of card trading stores around. After a long day of searching for Pokémon cards, my family and I stumbled upon this ramen spot right as it opened at noon.
The place was bustling, but we managed to bring our baby cart inside for our child to sit comfortably. Although they don't have baby seats, like most ramen places, it didn't stop us from enjoying their fantastic ramen. They offer two flavors: salt-based (塩味) and soy sauce-based (正油). Both were delicious and perfectly balanced, not overwhelming at all.
The fried dumplings were decent, though not the highlight of our meal. However, the service was friendly and professional. The chefs' smiles and the welcoming atmosphere added to the overall experience.
If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving this ramen...
