金麦香麻辣烫炸串过桥米线 — Restaurant in Osaka

Out of my 5 days in Osaka, I came to this restaurant 3 times. They do the best malatang I've ever tasted!

As I don't speak Japanese or Chinese I was anxious to pick my own ingredients and try my own soup so my first 2 times I went for their rice noodle dish (which was amazing, perfect amount of spicy and was so so cheap!). My 3rd time I chose my own ingredients and the experience was great. The chefs were very kind and knew that we didn't speak Japanese so they translated the options on their phone to English for us.

Definitely would eat here again if I come back to Osaka - luckily my hotel was...

A+ [would come again / 還會再來]

· delicious authentic Chinese malatang where the hot pot ingredients are prepacked in small plastic bags

· my order was exactly 1000 Yen which was worth for the portion

· theres grilled skewers here too (popular with locals)

· asked the owner for more garlic to enhance flavor

· the malatang soup was drinkable + not too spicy compared to other locations

· paid in cash (no suica sad)

tldr: budget-friendly malatang thats...

Absolutely delicious and stellar. I went with a family member because of the reviews people left here and it did not disappoint. We both chose our own ingredients, medium spicy with sesame sauce for the noodles, skewers, and drinks. Spice level was perfect and I want the seasoning they use for the skewers on everything now.
