8th Sea Oyster — Restaurant in Osaka

I can't speak on the gumbo, but the oysters are some of the best I've ever had! Not slimy at all and only have a hint of the ocean taste whereas most others I've had in the states are overwhelmed by it. Also, each oyster had to weigh at least 1.5 ounces; they were massive. After 12 I was full and normally I can take down a few dozen. I usually shy away from larger oysters but the aforementioned mouthfeel made them much more appealing than the ones you find stateside. Another nice thing was that the horseradish was by far the best I've had. A little bit of Japanese whiskey to wash it down and it was hard to imagine a better experience. Been there for a break during shopping in Namba Parks. This is in fact a chain restaurant which can be found in other cities like Tokyo and Nagoya.

【コース内容】 ・シーフードプラッター ・スモークサーモンとイクラのサラダ ★オイスターバーのホットプレート ４種類の調理された牡蠣が2個ずつて今日されるので全ての種類の牡蠣を食べました！特にお気に入りは”カニクリームの焼き牡”でした！お酒がすすみます！ ★牡蠣と菜の花のアヒージョバケット2ピース ありそうで無かった、牡蠣アヒージョ！とオイルに牡蠣のエキスが溶け込むのでバケットに牡蠣とたっぷりのオリーブオイルを塗って食べた牡蠣は最高に美味しかったです！バケットおかわりしたい！！！！！ ・〆の牡蠣スープ

店内はおしゃれなテーブル席が10席ほどありカップルや家族など様々なお客さんが こられていた印象です！バレンタインデーなどのお祝い時におすすめしたいお店でした。 スタッフの方も丁寧な料理の説明をしていただき非常に良い日を過ごせました。
