TL;DR: Save yourself 50 bucks and go to a fast food restaurant.
I had a lunch set - worst food experience in my two week trip to Japan. The staff generally lacked courtesy and did not seem to care for what they do. The food was barely swallowable (some weren't). I left two dishes uneaten after a taste of each.
They are perfectly comfortable with pushing out half cooked and crunchy noodle and almond tofu that's basically a soup. It seemed like they didn't wait long enough for it to become solid. When questioned on the tofu they were happy to push the invoice in front of me and tell me that's exactly what I get. So spare the big "F you" and the bad food you'll spit out.

It's totally a waste. The other servers are politely professional. I stopped taking photos of the balance of the set. A total failure in food. The plum juice is the best in this dinner. The dishes in both set meals were added with unnecessary ingredients, especially the shrimp which was added with a large amount of cream. They failed to bring out the original taste of the ingredients.
We had already had lunch when we arrived and just wanted to have some afternoon tea because we were tired, but we were forced to order two set meals that we could not finish and the taste was not good. I understand that the restaurant hopes that each customer will order a set meal or set a minimum consumption, but they did not inform us in advance, and the waiter did not respond to my suggestion, merely indicating that they knew and then leaving. Lacking the initiative to communicate and explain to the customers, this is not...
