CORA COFFEE — Restaurant in Osaka

This is the first time I'm going to use the word HATE in a review.

The food is meh. Simple overpriced sliced bread sandwiches and watery coffees - i definitely wouldnt recommend the place for their food, but that would be the average of less than ordinary cafes in japan.

The store is actually cute. But that doesnt mean nothing, when you have an awful staff like that. Omg what a horrible woman at the register, how unlucky one has to be to wake up in the morning, go for a coffee outside and have an unpleasant encounter with a person like that.

Disappointing Matcha Latte Experience*

I recently tried a matcha drink, and unfortunately, it was a letdown. The flavor was not what I expected from a traditional matcha. It tasted more like a sweet, grassy syrup rather than the rich, slightly bitter taste of ceremonial matcha.

What really took me aback was that they seemed to use a pre-made matcha mix from a plastic bottle. It didn't feel fresh or authentic at all. The convenience might be appealing to some, but for me, the lack of quality and care in preparation was a major turn-off.

If you're looking for a genuine matcha experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Maybe try a place that uses high-quality, ceremonial-grade matcha and prepares it fresh. Until then, I'll be taking my matcha cravings...

Amazing breakfast experience! The toast was very good, my matcha (with almond milk) was just ok, but honestly: it's not an establishment focused on matcha, so I didn't come with the expectation of getting a premium matcha latte. What really sets this place apart is the service and the very attentive staff who will communicate with you via a direct translator. I've never seen any restaurant/café using such technology to cater to foreigners and would like to applaud them for doing so. We spoke English, German and even Spanish with them, and thus, interacting with the staff was super fun!
