IRISH PUB DUBLIN BAY / DUBLIN GARDEN — Restaurant in Osaka

Centrally located Irish pub really close to Dotonbori. It's down a flight of steps but have signs out so it's easy to find. They also have a rooftop bar a few floors up from the main bar. Along with drinks they also have food. I came for fish and chips because I heard the food was good here. A bit disappointed because the batter on the fish was SO hard. It made it a bit difficult to eat and even cut into. I probably won't get that again but perhaps try something else on the menu next time I want food. Really nice pub that I frequent regularly recently, really friendly staff with some English ability too. Patrons are also generally very friendly and pleasant. The food here is also great and they even do fish and chips, a little expensive but definitely worth the money. There is also happy hour every day from 5-8 where each drink is 100 yen off, not amazing but better than a kick in the teeth. It makes a pint of Kirin 700 yen, pretty good for Japan. Came here after a long day of exploring and ended up coming here every night while in Osaka. The people who work here are great, they're really funny and kind! They also gave us a brilliant recommendation for where to get the best Okonomayaki and Negiyaki in Osaka! The food in Dublin Bay is also really good and similar to what you could get in a pub at home, we both got the burger and chips and were very happy afterwards.
