More detailed review further down but this was one of our most memorable meals on our trip.
We went for our final dinner in Japan after a 2 week trip.
We had been recommended an izakaya, but we hadn't been during our stay so we decided we would go the last evening. This was close to our hotel, and had received good reviews from other visiting customers and the food looked more diverse than other places nearby.
We had a great time. The staff was super friendly, even if their English was limited they made sure to explain everything as best as they could to us and we managed to communicate well with English only, and Google translate. Do note that this restaurant only accepts cash, and since it was our last dinner we didn't have very much we restricted our time and what we ordered.

It felt like we made friends, and we were very sad to leave! Best regards from Germany—we hope to...

Enjoyed gyoza, yakitori, sake, etc. Cosy interior, sitting up at the counter 👌🏻 Total bill for 2 people inc. drinks = 2800 JPY, so...
