My husband found this place by looking up spots near our hotel. After reading through some reviews we made our way over and it did not disappoint! We were enthusiastically greeted when we walked in and then the chef came over to provide recommendations on what to order. I got the chicken ramen and my husband got the second option on the machine (all in Japanese and unfortunately I didn’t take note of the names). You can choose to upgrade it for about 300 yen more so we did that and it was so good!! We also ordered a couple of beers and received bigger bottles than expected which if we had known we would’ve probably shared but won’t complain about it! The chicken ramen I ordered was probably the most unique ramen I’ve ever tried and full of flavor. My husband loved the dark rich broth that came in his. I also couldn’t help but notice how clean it was in here. Wonderful first stop in Japan’s foodie capital!

I sat at the counter and ordered chicken broth + seasoned egg ramen. After a few minutes of waiting, the food was served smoothly. It was a beautiful ramen with white soup. The flavor was rich, but not too heavy, with an elegant taste. The noodles were thin and made from whole wheat flour. Both the noodles and the soup were sophisticated ramen. I'll definitely be returning.

The restaurant has a unusual (in a good way) sophisticated atmosphere, where everything is clean and tidy. Staff was kind, spoke English and were very professional. The chef even asked if everything was to my taste. One small thing that I liked is that underneath their aprons they all wore a tie. Gives you an idea that everything in this restaurant counts and meals are made with care and expertise. It's certainly a more artisanal approach than the regular mass processing.
