I would totally move in. The cafe is ridiculously cute with a few counter seats overseeing the kitchen, a large shared table in the centre of the space, and two-seater outside. I arrived 15 minutes before opening and a few folks were already queueing, but everyone was greeted with bilingual menus, before being shown to their seats. Inside, the cafe is very small, adding to its whimsical quirky charm.
I ordered a smoothie according to colour (mix of fruits) and design (daruma, artful mandala or cute character), the omu rice in a yellow capsicum, and an iced coffee. Everything is run by two ladies only, but the order arrived promptly and the presentation was stunning - to the degree where I could dot the ordered daruma’s missing eye myself with black sesame paste. And everything also tasted phenomenal. Afterwards, struck up a conversation with the other patrons around me and the owners.
All in all, I will definitely be back. My suggestion for anyone planning on going: Come a bit early to queue and bring plenty of cash to enjoy all the delicious...
Read moreMy wife was super keen to try this place so we came a bit early to line up but was still was not the first people in line. However we were luck that there were seats for us when they open. The restaurant probably only sit like 8-10 people at most and if you miss the first wave, you might need to wait in the sun for like 45 minutes so that is not fun. We ordered the art set with both their curry rice and omurice dish. As far as the main dish goes the curry rice was kinda over salted and the omurice was not super fantastic. The salad was great however. The presentation of the food of this place is obviously excellent as that is what they excel in. We had the pink and the purple smoothie. Purple is like a blueberry smoothie with strawberry slices and chia seeds with yogurt in the bottom, the pink is probably mixed berries with banana slice, chia seeds and yogurt. The smoothies were actually pretty tasty and the artwork is amazing. All and all quite a healthy meal and good photos but not really for...
Read moreGot there 40 min before opening and still waited an hour and a half in total. Smoothies were beautiful but the turnaround is a bit slower bec people come here for the food too! The place is quiet small but the ladies are very kind. They ask that you don't take too much time bec there is a long out the door. You order by color, not flavor. Orange was delicious! I couldn't guess what fruit flavor it was but the purple and pink were blue/raspberries. Bring an umbrella because it gets pretty sunny as you wait in line. Staff will come out to let you preview menus and take your orders so that your smoothie is ready when you are seated. I'm glad I went but I don't think I'd go again. As a visitor, that is a lot of time spend in line. But I'm glad I...
