Menya-Yama Honmachidori — Restaurant in Osaka

The food is excellent and the staff were wonderful. If you're staying in Kitahama, as I was, do yourself a favour and make the trip.

My partner and I speak some Japanese but are nowhere near fluent and the staff were very helpful directing us to the English menu and making sure we understood the process. The ramen and the sake were both delicious. I had the spicy ramen and loved it, my partner had the standard ramen and she loved it too.

Came here because it was recommended by the Moxy Hotel with their promotional coupon with your stay. It advertised a 7 course meal for 3500 yen (35usd) per person. It included wagyu, sushi, salad, karage, tempura, and more! It was really tasty and the staff was very quick to service as soon as we finished each plate! He was really nice and explained each dish after he served it.

The place is cozy but can easily fit groups from 2-8. They had a great happy hour special for 250 yen. We left happy and full.
