I was torn between 2 or 3 stars, can't give half stars so decided on 2. Very expensive for what it is - yes they have roast beef and lamb, lots of seafood (salmon etc) and other more difficult to find/expensive things, but even though the warm goods are under heat lamps, it's still barely warm to eat. I don't want cold roast beef... Though it's a thing in Japan to seemingly eat everything cold, this was supposed to be more western by the fact there were mini Yorkshire puddings (not great, but they tried). Could not see any carbs to eat with anything apart from what was grilled/roasted with the various meat options and there wasn't much. Only thing obvious was smilie potato faces for kids. Some fried potatoes, roasters, or even mash potatoes would be nice to be able to choose what you want with everything. They didn't even have rice (only rice was on a meat dish too). Only thing you could have was salad and small amount of bread options and who wants that with roast beef?!? There was a "strawberry fair" type thing going on and, like usual with seasonal stuff in Japan, pretty much 85% of the stuff available for dessert had some kind of strawberry thing going on... Sucks if you're not a fan of strawberry! I don't mind them, but I prefer variety and options. Everything tasting of strawberry was annoying.
Compulsory 15% service charge is what it is- I knew before I booked so, fair enough, but that just made it more of a rip off. For 12000yen per person plus 15%... Too expensive for what it is. I won't...
Read moreDinner at NOKA Grill at InterContinental Osaka was a truly memorable experience. I opted for their semi-buffet dinner, which offered a delightful spread for starters and desserts, with a choice of main dishes like steak and other grilled delicacies. The variety and quality of the buffet were excellent, but the highlight was definitely the main course—I chose the steak, which was cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with a selection of wines.
The ambiance of NOKA Grill is simply stunning, with its tall ceilings and a modern yet warm atmosphere. The space feels open and inviting, and the views of the city from the height only add to the charm of the dining experience. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to sit back, relax, and enjoy the evening, taking in the sights of Osaka while savoring every bite.
The service was exceptional, as you’d expect from a five-star hotel. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal. The wine pairing was another standout—it was so thoughtfully selected and perfectly complemented the flavors of the dishes.
If you're looking for a place to enjoy a refined yet comfortable dinner with excellent food, views, and service, I highly recommend NOKA Grill at InterContinental Osaka. It’s definitely a spot worth visiting for a special...
Read moreI was there for strawberry sweet buffet. They staff warmly greeted us. The sweets were delicious! They also have some savory food. Me and my friend love their strawberry latte.
The staff members are highly attentive. I broke the mule glass (im so sorry.. 😵) and the first thing they asked was if anyone got hurt? After they were certain that no one got hurt, they removed the glass pieces and wiped up the water.
I was checking their website before going there, and i noticed they will be changing the sweet buffet menu soon. cant wait to try it (wont break anything next time 😆)
