The first thing that impressed me about Osaka Yakiton-center was the welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The dim lighting, traditional decor, and lively chatter of the locals made me feel right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience.

Now, let's talk about the food. The oden at Osaka Yakiton-center is nothing short of exceptional. Made with fresh ingredients and simmered to perfection, each piece of tofu, daikon, and fish cake was bursting with flavor. It was the perfect dish to warm our hearts on a chilly evening.

We went on Sunday night. Got a seat for two instantly but was a bit shocked that there is no seat. Like the ambience a lot! There are a lot of locals and didn’t see any tourists at all. Menu is in English, Simplified Chinese, Korean and Japanese. However, it’s a bit confusing to read. We ended up pointing at dishes at other people’s table haha... each skewer is around 130-300 Yen. Remember to order in combo if you really enjoy the meat. U get cheaper price if you order 3 or 5 in a set!! (We only noticed that at the end)

Every time we're in Namba we stop in for a couple of grilled pork sticks and a beer. All the different cuts are great, nicely grilled over charcoal and lightly seasoned, but the "toro" and the "temple" are the best. The "collagen" (stewed tendon) is also excellent, and they will kindly refill your bowl of shredded cabbage as often as you like.
