Highlights of the Hotel Alps||||Distance from the Airport: This hotel is situated a bit far from the airport, it takes about 45min-50min if you take the Nankai Airport Express the cost is 920 Japanese Yen (¥). However, the alternative is Nankai Rpt:t which just takes about 10 min shorter than Nankai but the cost is ¥1340. ||||Location: The location is perfect, as it is just about 5-10min walk to/from Namba station, so, travelling around Osaka should not be that big of a problem, also because the stations are named in English as well as they have numbers eg: for Namba station it is N20. There are also may varieties of restaurants nearby, so, having meals should not be a problem. Furthermore, it is also close to Dotonbuti (Just about 10 min walk from the hotel). Also other railway lines such as JR is also close by (Easier to use JR to go to universal studio H45 I think).||||Staff: The staffs were really kind and polite and they do speak English so, it was easier for us.||||Room: The room is very spacious, and it has lot of great facilities in it such as large bed, tv, ac, massage chair (limited time 15 min but you can use it many times, no foot massage), jacuzzi, fridge, microwave, and other facilities. ||||Cleanliness: The hotel is very clean, and the room is also clean. ||||WiFi: They have free WiFi and the internet is fast.||||Noise: The room is sound proof because I have not heard anything from outside nor from the other rooms throughout my stay in the hotel.||||SPA: As mentioned earlier they did have massage chair for this room, although I think they also provide massage service in the room itself, I am not sure about this because I have not tried and when I saw it on the information near the bed it said the cost ranges from ¥5k to ¥10k. So, I felt it’s not worth it. Why spend the money when you have free massage chair for unlimited time without any additional charge. The only downside is in the massage chair the remote controller’s written language is in Japanese.||||Meal: The breakfast is delicious (opening time 7am to 10am), we have had breakfast in the hotel for 5 days and it is very convenient to have it in the hotel as most of the restaurants won’t be open till 11 or 12. However, for lunch and dinner I can’t say anything as there are plenty of options nearby so we also ate outside the hotel.||||Room service: They do have room service here in the hotel. But I am not sure what is the price range or how the room service facility is.||||Overall: I really love this hotel and if possible, in future I decide to travel in Osaka I would love to choose this hotel. Thank you for such a wonderful...

The road to Hotel Alps is the road between Starbucks and La Poppo Farm Cafe. It is 5 to 7 minute walk from the any of the exits I mentioned.||||||I agree with all the good reviews about this hotel in TripAdvisor.||- the room is quite spacious||- Jacuzzi in the bathroom||- plenty of toilet amenities||- plenty of restaurants around the area||- walking distance to Dotonburi||||Breakfast was good.||||On arrival, I was given a ticket for complimentary welcome drinks at their cafe but it can only be used between 11:00am and 10:00pm. However, the cafe is only open for breakfast until 10:00am so the ticket for welcome drink is useless. The hotel should stop giving out the useless ticket. ||||Also, you need to leave the access card at reception everytime you go out and ask for it back when you come back. This could be a security issue because anyone can ask for your key without them verifying the identity of the person. Once, I asked for the wrong room number by mistake and was given the access card for the wrong room. I then asked for my correct...
Read moreWe stayed here for 3 nights in October.||We arrived at the hotel in the morning so we had to wait until we could check in. But we knew that would happen so it was expected. We could leave our suitcases at reception while we explored the area near the hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed our complimentary drink in the restaurant which was a nice surprise.||The hotel itself is quite dated, and could do with an update but everything is super clean and tidy. You can tell the hotel is really looked after.||We had a room which was huge. It also included a lovely jacuzzi +bath salts and a massage chair. The hotel provides you with all the potions and lotions you need, aswell as pyjamas, robes and slippers. The hotel even offers water bottles and some japanese snacks for you. ||The breakfast was very basic. There is some cereal and toast. The rest of the food on offer were all japanese. The coffee machine seemed to have a mind of its own and gave out different coffee to what you wanted. It would of been useful if the foods had labels by them explaining what it was. ||The location was was brilliant for exploring Osaka. The metro is near, aswell as many shops, bars and restaurants. ||I would definetely recommend...
