One word: horrible. The worst part being the service crew.

We are foreigners visiting Osaka and came across this location for a meal. The crew was possibly xenophobic and glanced at us multiple times in a judgemental/condescending manner as we were eating and EVEN when we were leaving.

When we first wanted to eat at the restaurant, we tried to make eye contact with the male waiter a few times to get a table, but he kept avoiding his gaze from the entrance (It was very obvious). Even when we made eye contact with him a few times, he just looked away quickly and even turned away to speak (looked like gossiping) with another female waitress. Same female waitress also ignored us when we gestured to ask if we could enter the restaurant. We did not have this experience in the other places we have been to. We only managed to get a seat after entering the store on our own and approaching another female waitress for a table (There were at least 3 empty tables).

For water cups, we realised that they gave us different cups from other patrons who were Japanese (see pic). We didn’t notice it at first until we were taking pictures of our food and saw the different colors. At first, we thought it was because they have ran out of cups but we realised that ONLY our table had this cup.

When paying, the female waitress (foreign looking) also had a rude attitude.

The food was slightly below average, you can get better elsewhere. (fyi: Beef and cheese omurice was 70% fats, pork cutlets were dry) Overall, a really bad experience for a tourist, in a country known for being...

I remember when I first ate this brand was in 2005 with my wife, we still have the good memories, we visited the store in Fukuoka, Tokyo and Osaka. From 2005, we will eat every-time we visiting Japan. We do saw lots of changes in the menu, special after the COVID. No more corn soup which was my wife favorite. The taste during 2006-2007 was the best, the. Keep dropping to 2017 the worst, but now slow getting better. If you not try it before, you may, but if not, then you may not specifically will look for it...

The service and atmosphere were good. Usually a lot busier on weekends so you might have to wait in line. They have lunch sets where you could pick either omurice + drink of choice or omurice + salad. The omurice itself has 4 sizes (ss, s, m, l if i'm not mistaken), they no longer sell the largest size due to bird flu (by March 2023). They give you free miso soup (the small cup). I recommend getting ss if you don't eat a lot, but i ordered s and it was very filling. Our orders came super fast. I decided to rate the food 4 stars cause honestly it was a bit disappointing. I've been here several years before (before covid and this whole bird flu) and i did notice that their sauce portion changed a bit. I'm not sure if it's cause i ordered S while my friends got SS so my sauce looked a lot less than theirs (which they also noticed and commented on)😭 I love their cream sauce a lot and i always get that one so it was a bit disappointing. For the price i do think i deserve at least a bit more sauce😂 Also the fries weren't very crunchy. All the orders came really fast so i think they kinda rushed everything not wanting to make us wait? I'm totally okay with waiting as long as my food is good though. 土曜のお昼に行って、待ちがあったけど意外と早く入れました。サービスと雰囲気が非常に良かったが、案内した店員さんはテーブルに注文タブレットがないと気づかなかったみたいです。ドリンク選べるランチセットを注文して、Sサイズにしました (友達がSSサイズにした)。あまり多く食べれない方だとSSサイズがおすすめです。居酒屋の枝豆ぐらい注文が早く届いて早く食べれて嬉しかったが...ソースの量がコロナの前に来る時と比較したら結構減った気がします (ここのクリームソース好きなので悲しい)。友達のSSサイズの量と比べるとSサイズのソース量が少なく見えました...
