Quarant Quatre — Restaurant in Osaka

On the last day of my visit to Osaka, the restaurants around the hotel were booked out, so I went to this restaurant l, where I could make a reservation. French restaurant may not be popular in Osaka, but if the essence of food is to please the palate, stimulate the brain to evoke memories and provide energy, it's hard to understand why there were no customers here. We came out at 7:30, so there must have been a lot of customers afterward. The first wine I ordered was a chardonnay from Meursault, but it was out of stock, so the staff recommended a 2012 vintage from Chateau Montus instead, which was unfamiliar to me, both the region and the grape variety, but I chose it because it was 12 years old. Wisdom said that the older the wine, the better. We ordered a course meal and it was so good from start to finish. All the sauces and butters were home made, so it was a perfect combination. Just because you're in Osaka doesn't mean you can't eat sushi, tonkatsu, sashimi, and wagyu beef. Plus, this restaurant has a serving staff who genuinely welcomes you, which is so appreciated....

北浜のとあるビルの地下1階にあるコスパ良好のフレンチレストラン。 食べログでの情報では今年の6月オープン。

まだ口コミ4件とあまり知られていないのかな？ 12時半過ぎに店に入るとほぼ満席。

みんな知ってるんですね〜、さすがだ。 案内してくれたホール係の女性はすごく丁寧。

見ていると全員丁寧な接客ですね。 さてこちらのランチは基本となるランチは1000円。

メインは魚か肉かを選べてサラダ、パン、コーヒーか紅茶付。 それに、スープを加えると＋300円。

デザートかフルーツコンポートを加えると＋500円になります。 ちなみに本日は魚(カサゴのポワレ)、肉(豚ロース肉ポワレ)でした。

私はスタンダードなランチで肉を選択しました。 ちなみに、パンのお代わりは100円だそうです。

北浜周辺でもっともコスパ良く美味しいフレンチが食べられるお店です。今回で4回目の訪問になります。 今からおよそ1年前、グラタンのお料理を頂いたときはそこまで美味しくなかったので疎遠になっていましたが、たまたま近くを通りかかり久しぶりに入ってみるとお料理がものすごく美味しくなっていてビックリしました。 今では2～3週間に1回は必ず訪れるようにしています。 ランチのコースは4つに分かれれいて、忙しいビジネスマン向けのAとBコース。すこし時間のあるかたはCやDコースを頼まれると聞きます。 私は仕事の休憩中に行くことが多いので基本Aコースを頼んでいます。※訪問2回目はCコースを頼み、コース時間はおおよそ50分ほどでした。 4回目の今日は豪州産のステーキを頂くことに。ソースもしっかりモンテされていて赤ワインのコクもしっかり味わえる、とても1,400円のランチメニューとは思えないクオリティです。しかし、私はやっぱり鴨肉のほうが好きでした…2回目と3回目は仏産鴨肉を頂いたのですが流石に3回連続で鴨肉はヤバすぎかと思い豪州ステーキにしました。…が、やっぱ…仏産鴨肉は最高ですね。…本当に美味しいです。 付け合わせの季節の野菜も本当に美味しくいい熱加減でポッシェされていて感動です。 メートル・ドテルのお姉さんはすごく気前が良くお店の雰囲気もいい感じでとても好きです。今日はすこし客足が多く忙しそうにしていましたが… 今度も鴨肉を食べに行こうかと思っています。 最後はハーブティとプティフールを頂いてお会...
