Rich Garden — Restaurant in Osaka

The restaurant has a nice smell of greasy hamburgers that immediately makes you hungry. The vibe is good—chill—but the music is a little loud, which made it hard to get a waitress’s attention at first. I had to call out twice, and neither time was I heard. Luckily, someone walked by, and I was able to order, but the second time, I had to go up to the front.

The staff is friendly and it’s totally fine to order in English, which is a big plus. Just something to note: they don’t have baskets for your belongings (common for Japanese restaurants).

As for the food, the fries are hot and crispy, and the burger is solid. I got the Trio Cheese Burger. The bread is soft, and the lettuce and onions add a nice crunch. The burger is juicy and flavorful, but I wished for a bit more cheese, especially since it’s advertised as a “trio” cheese burger. The diced onions were delicious but tricky to keep inside the burger—thankfully, they provide burger (like wrapping?) paper to help keep things neat.

They have ketchup (and mustard), but I think you need to request for it. Also, card payment is accepted, which is nice.

If you’re exiting from the subway (Namba), take Exit B6—it’s the closest exit to the restaurant I believe.

WOW!! This place is AMAZING. My husband and I were only in the area for about 3 days - came to eat here twice within that time. We are visiting from the US and can confidently say these were the best burgers we have ever had. Juicy, delicious, and high quality meat. The store is filled with a heavenly aroma of deliciousness. We ordered the grand slam cheeseburger and the avocado cheeseburger. Both were incredible. The grand slam had mashed potatoes (we had never seen this before) and my husband LOVED it. The side salad has a very simple/light dressing that I enjoyed very much. We also tried the mexican nachos which were very yummy. The service is different than what we are used to - the friendly staff still welcomes you in to your table, but will wait until you call them over to order. I kind of enjoy this more as I have plenty of time to look over the menu with no pressure. Fairly priced especially for great food. We will definitely come back if we have the chance to visit...

Burger looked delicious and tasted nice, but for the cost is kind of skimpy on the fillings, meat included. With so many other burger places in the area it makes this harder to recommend. Does have a good selection of drinks, but I did not try them; they look great though! Being able to switch your potatoes that come with burgers out for a salad is nice. Soy patties changing for free is also mega accessible!

Atmosphere was chill, good if you like baseball but otherwise kind of average. Staff were existent and not bad in anyway, but a bit short mannered. Could have been because lunch hour though, during quieter times they might be more attentive and nicer.
