Shanghai Bar — Restaurant in Osaka

Came here with my wife for lunch because all the other nearby restaurants were packed. I have to say, the waiters were great and attentive but the food is just not that good for the price. over ¥3000 yen for this. Almost no meat in the noodles, and the fried rice was nothing special.

My wife ordered the spicy dandanmen but it had coriander which cannot eat. I switched dishes with her but it was very spicy and left me coughing. My own meal, the creamy sesame dandanmen, was a little better but nowhere near worth the price I paid for it. You can get much better food much cheaper in almost any ramen joint in Umeda or go to Top Chefs in daimaru if you're hungry for chinese...
