Two draft beers and (a singular) slice of pizza came to ¥2500..Not to mention when I proceeded to pay with a credit card I was told there was a ¥3000 minimum to use cards. I've been in Japan 5+ years and have never heard of such a rule. This lead me to being forced to buy more from them after already being overcharged. The receipt was emailed to me, but not itemized, it just had the total amount (clever). Didn't wanna make a scene so I just paid, knowing I'd never be back. After checking the menu today, I confirmed that they did overcharge me by about ¥500.
There were two staff memebers working when I went in. The one working the register that ripped me off was at least (somewhat) cordial and professional. The heavier set one was quite rude and walked around with a scowl on her face the entire night. I overheard her asking patrons, "What do you want?" in a fairly rude tone of voice. Overall, customer service was 0/10.
During my time there I watched the two staff members bicker back forth and argue about what orders were going where. Tickets were handwritten and kept in a disheveled fashion behind the bar. In fact, I had to tell her what I ordered and wait for her to sift through the large pile of ticket orders to pay. As you can imagine, everything came out extrmemely slow. Wich was odd becasue they weren't that busy...
The pizza itself was extremely basic and fairly flavorless. This is completely subjective, but a New Yorker from Dominoes is much more delicious and for the same price I paid that night, I could've gotten an (entire) pizza.
Final thoughts- Ovepriced with terrible customer service. Like (most) "Western Style" restaurants that offer non Japanese food, you're gonna pay a premium for criminally basic food you know...
Read morethis is a bar and not a restaurant as Google lists it to be. We were greeted at the door by both the owner and the waitress. Our waitress was Japanese but spoke English. The menu is bar style Canadian food with pizza. We came here for vegan options for my partner. The poutine was just beneath the standard of what I’d consider edible - the level of salt was enough to make your lips wrinkle. The pizzas were not quite right, their flavour wasn’t bad but I’d compare them to the type of food you would get at a school cafeteria. I’d rate both pizzas a 3.7/10. 4 being a frozen pizza. With that said - the bill amounted to around 5000 yen for two people which was fine for a place so close to the Gleico man but there was some things that made me uncomfortable apart from the mediocre food.
In conclusion I feel that the owners business model is to fill the customer with as much alcohol as possible so that they consume needless amounts of low quality food.
For the same price you could eat at other higher quality establishments. I wouldn’t go here again. There is zero reason to unless you’re craving alcohol with a Canadian owner and vegan options. I suppose for a non vegan owner you may as well go to...

🌱Vegan/vegetarian friendly/ cash only (under ¥3000) Amazing pizza, literally to DIE FOR. and it's got actual veggies on it🤯 (unlike the "Italian" places which only sell Margherita) pizza slices are huge, almost Costco size, so you can get full in only 2 slices
Amazing recs from the waitress, she was the only one manning the front though so she was a bit busy and short with us a few times. Pizza takes a while to arrive so we ordered drinks, HIGHLY recommend the Cranberry beer. However, it would have been nice to know that orders under ¥3000 are cash only as soon as we walked in. The waitress told us after we were done and my friend had to run to the ATM to grab cash. Very strange for a restaurant to have cash only when they mainly have international customers.
Atmosphere was nice, very Western pub-like. EXTREMELY Canadian, a little too much so, with Canadian inspired desserts, drinks, decor, flags hanging, maple leafs everywhere.
Overall me and my friend had fun and enjoyed our food. The location is also nice, right next to Dotonbori, so you can go for a walk after food to...
