Wagyu Yakiniku BBQ Gyuta Honjin LINKS UMEDA Restauraut — Restaurant in Osaka

Located at the corner, visible the moment you exit from the lift at Level 8 of the famous behemoth of a size Yodabashi in Osaka JR, Yuta Honjin Links dishes out high quality meats, amidst a pleasant dining environment that magically captures the essense of Yakiniku casual dining with the comfort of a private restaurant.

We ordered the deluxe honjin set that comes with a fine selection of meats (as shown in the picture) together with a generous serving of 3 kinds of Kimchi, a fresh large bowl of salad and a bowl of "beef tartare" like dish for our rice.

Perhaps the most impressive part of the dinner is the high efficiency smoke and grease extractor by the stove, so powerful that my perfume was still on me by the time I was done after almost 120min in. Anyone thinking of Yakiniku without the fuss of having to manage your grease smelling clothes could rest assure.

Food is definitely the highlight here. Good quality premium salted tongue, lean meat steak, short rib, premium skirt and many other priced cuts with fair amount of mushrooms and veges to balance out, completes the wonderful dining experience! Food was just enough for my family of 4 - 2 Adults a Preteen and a 2.5yr old. Setting me back by 16,280 Yen, this meal is a real steal. For those with a smaller apetite, they do have 4,950 Yen sets as well. So if you are at Yodabashi Osaka JR, look no further. Skip all other restaurants at Level 8 and just head straight to Yuta Honjin - it will ensure you get every cent worth!! Well done Yuta Honjin...

We decided to come here last minute. We came at 5pm and asked if we can do a reservation same day at 6:30pm for 5 people. They were able to and when we got here they had everything set up, even children set for our one child. We sat on a quiet nook which gave a private feel. The staff is super friendly and they were able to communicate with us in English which was one of the challenges we’ve had with other restaurants. There’s an English menu you order on the iPad. This is inside the mall. The meat is high quality but it’s bit pricey. We got a set to share between two of us and a beef tartare. Food was great except the “offal of the day” in the set which we have no idea what it was and I couldn’t eat it no matter how hard I chew lol.

We were seated in a private room which was awesome if you have children (we have a baby). You order from a tablet that has multiple languages (including English). Service could have been better if they told us what which meat is within the set.
