[Members Only] American Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Tokyo

As a reciprocal member visiting, i had very high hopes of the quality of the food at TAC.

We just finished our visit to The American Bar & Grill and came away very disappointed.

The food took 1 hour to arrive.

One of my dining companions ordered the Snow-Aged Niigata Wagyu steak. I distinctly heard her mention "Snow Aged" to the waiter. However when the food arrived after 1 hour, it was a Snake River strip filet, not the A4 Niigata beef we were expecting.

We all ordered medium doneness for all the steaks. However, for all 3 of us who ordered steaks, the doneness was medium-rare to rare. You can see the doneness in one of the attached photos - how can this be medium?!?

Very very disappointed at the chef's skill given the price of the steaks which was 8000+ yen.

To be fair, the maitre'd was very apologetic and waived the steak error. However, the fault is clearly not his, but the chef preparing the steaks and the waiter who...

今回はランチタイムの利用

店員さんは注文時に基本日本語は話さない強気っぷり 英語が話せる人がいなかったので困った笑 それでもなんとかはなる

メニューはたくさんあるんだけど、見かけたことないようなメニュー名ばかりで何が何だかわからなかった笑

食べログにもネットにも載っていなくて参考情報がほとんどない

日本語で直訳すると面白いメニューもちらほら
