This review is not about the quality of the food, but rather the experience. We walked by this place, saw AYCE with different price levels on the poster stand and were interested. Then we looked on google for reviews, and to our surprise, there were over 1000 reviews, and it was close to 5 stars average. It must be amazing, we thought. We went in, sat down, then we saw it. There was a sign indicating that you would get a discount for your meal if you post a good review on google. First red flag. Second red flag, on the menu they handed us, it said we must order either ayce soft drinks for 800 yen per person along with the ayce meal, or ayce alcohol/other drinks for 1500 yen (pp as well). Had we seen this on the menu outside, we would not have gone in, which I guess is exactly why they omitted it. I can’t speak for whether this add on applies to a la carte menu though. As soon as we saw the add on, we upped and left. Purely because we did not appreciate the dishonesty. They did not lie, but were definitely not honest about their pricing. The food could very well be amazing, but this tactic is not for me. So beware, fellow...
Read moreQuality-wise, meat is a bit over price (we didn’t go with all-you-can-eat) but still acceptable.
Service otherwise is the worst, not recommend for anyone. The staff does not understand Japanese properly and tried to chase us out of the shop at 1:15 hr-mark from the time we entered the restaurant, claiming other customer is waiting for the table despite we also reserved the table for this time + they just served us the last plate and the sign said we can sit up to 2 hrs. After a small argument, they admitted we can sit up to 2 hours without any apologize and still reminded us that we need to leave at exact 2 hours mark. Never received this kind of rude service before in Japan. Thank you for having us but we won’t visit again nor recommend...
Read moreWe reserved the restaurant for 32 people a week beforehand, but on the day they only had 2 people serving our entire group. Everything came out slowly, so we couldn’t order much. The food was okay for all-you-can-eat, but for those who have had wagyu before, it was definitely disappointing.
We had called them beforehand to confirm the price - as it was stated on Hot Pepper that you have to order all-you-can-drink along with your food course. The person who took my call said that it was 4700 per person, but when we went to pay, it was 5200 per person because they didn’t add tax to the drink course. Because we were such a large group, it became a lot more expensive then we expected.
Never coming...
