I have fond memories of this place from when I lived here in 2010. Came back today at 2pm and was immediately given the Dinner Menu which I thought was strange from the Nepalese waiter. I asked him if it was dinner or lunch time and he said both were fine but he had given me only one menu. As I wasn't that hungry, I asked for the Cheese Naan Set and he immediately pushed me to get the ¥2000 set. I politely declined. The next customer walks in and he provides them with the Lunch Menu. I inquired about this and asked him to hold my order but he said he couldn't change my order. He finally gave me the Lunch Menu as well (which is for between 11am and 4pm, Dinner is from 4pm) and the same set was ¥200 cheaper AND included a drink and dessert. I said to him that I thought this was dishonest and he lied about the difference in the menus but continued to talk over me. He offered a few complimentary items which I declined and gave me a small discount when I paid. Very disappointed in this deceptive behavior and...
Read moreI ordered a cheese naan set and blueberry lassi. The lassi and naan didn’t taste authentic but rather Japanised, which was good to my Japanese palate. The whole cheese naan looked too large for me to finish, but I was able to finish it with no problem because it was so good. The salad had a variety of veggies like mizuna, and its portion was large compared to typical side salad in Japan. As for the curries, I ordered vegetable curry and mixed beans curry. I loved hot spicy foods and didn’t feel spicy at all with the level 3 of spiciness. The beans curry had a lot of flavour from the spices, but the veggie curry tasted like leftover oil that’d been used for deep-frying many times. Being frugal and using old ingredients is the only and decisive downside...
Read moreI ate some delicious food there that was rich in flavor and full of added spices. I ordered a normal spicy level and it was not spicy at all. I also had cheese naan that was not too greasy and perfectly made which added great to my food. I don’t remember the name of the dish I ordered but it’s in the picture. When I was seated at the table I was given a tablet to order on. I was an option to change the language to either Japanese or English and it had pictures of all the menu items. The only issue was I ordered water and it came out sparkling which caught me by surprise. Everything pictures: entree, naan, and bottle of sparkling water came...
