Best izakaya experience ever, hands down. It is our best dinner experience. We met a lovely waitress who is English-speaking & she recommended dishes based on our preferences n curated a very hearty meal. We first started with seared salmon, shishamo, 5 kinds of sashimi, water bamboo, fish paste (like foie gras), Maguro tuna collar, A5 wagyu cubes & end with sakura prawn.

The order was a master piece & flows so well. The owner of the izakaya recommended 2 types of sake, which I love , since I do not have much knowledge about sake. He recommended n matches perfectly to my taste buds.

It was raining and we (my wife and son and I) were starving. I was a bit nervous because this place didn’t seem like it had an English food menu. But it didn’t matter. The proprietor and help staff had a picture menu, and they tried their best with limited English and translation apps. Their friendly joking approach made it fun. We went with a prefixe meal and every course was truly delicious. Grilled and raw seafood, with some delightful vegetable dishes in between. What a wonderful experience! The staff were super friendly and explained every dish that we had. Ordered the Chef’s Special which had multiple dishes which were all excellent. The owner was very nice and we would definitely visit again. There is only an English menu for drinks and it is highly recommended that you make a booking.
