Broth was quite good. Same with other Vietnamese restaurants in Japan, the amount of noodles dominates the soup bowl meanwhile in Vietnamese cuisine it's be the balance of meat, vegetables and noddles. Chicken pho here should be called "chicken floss pho". I've never seen such a little amount of chicken meat in a pho...

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Tokyo. I've had the entire menu (or close to it!) over the years, and everything has always been tasty - I don’t believe that there is a single bad choice on the menu. 東京都港区赤坂のベトナム料理屋さんです。 北海道から公用で東京に上京(？？)した時の、懇親会後の自分の自由時間中に発見したお店でした。 私は本格的なベトナム料理を頂くのは初めて。 一体どんな料理があるのだろうとお邪魔してみると、見た事も聞いた事もない料理から日本人にも馴染み深い料理をベトナム風に味付けをしたものまで色々あってワクワクしましたよ。 今回は、いつも食べ慣れているチャーハンとベトナムコーヒーを頂きました。 チャーハンは、時々ほんのりとパクチーかな？ そんな独特の香りが漂うメニューでしたが、レタスと豚肉と海老がマッチしていて香ばしくてとても美味しかったですよ。 そして、今回初めてのベトナムコーヒー。 コーヒーカップの底にミルクが沈んでいて混ぜながら飲むコーヒーでした。飲んでみると初めてだけど、初めてに感じない味。 マスターのお話によると、どうやら日本の缶コーヒーはベトナムコーヒーの味を元に作られているとの事です。 確かに昔の甘いポッカコーヒーもこんな味ですが、でもポッカコーヒーみたいなベトベト感がなくてとても飲みやすくて美味しかったです。 子供でも美味しく飲めるかも。 赤坂で見つけた珍しいお店。 今度また東京に訪問した時は、またこのお店で今度はまた色々と普段食べたことのないベトナム料理を頂いてみたいですね。
