I have never experienced such terrible service in Japan before. When we ordered food, I tried to ask the staff to serve the rice in a separate bowl. Genuinely excellent stab at a French brasserie.

The food is not quite at French Brasserie level, but it’s really really close and the price is a lot cheaper than France- in terms of value for money it is superb.

The location is great (next to the station) and it manages to be calm and relaxing

The food is well beyond standard Japanese French Cuisine- it’s as exceptional as a ta Guelle in Kiba but aimed at budget diners.

Std. Japanese fair like om rice is available and OK, but I would recommend the French classics- Steak Frites and the crepe suzette are clearly cooked on order and show the chefs are the real deal- strongly...
