I advise those who can’t speak Japanese not to go to this restaurant unless you want to be insulted. That day, my daughter and I entered the restaurant with a stroller. Since we didn’t have a reservation, I saw that there were several tables unoccupied, so I gave it a try. We stood near the door and waited patiently for the server, then two Japanese customers came after us in the line. A few minutes later, a man in the chef's uniform walked out and looked so mad. Read moreGenuinely excellent stab at a French brasserie.
The food is not quite at French Brasserie level, but it’s really really close and the price is a lot cheaper than France- in terms of value for money it is superb.
The location is great (next to the station) and it manages to be calm and relaxing
The food is well beyond standard Japanese French Cuisine- it’s as exceptional as a ta Guelle in Kiba but aimed at budget diners.
Std. Japanese fair like om rice is available and OK, but I would recommend the French classics- Steak Frites and the crepe suzette are clearly cooked on order and show the chefs are the real deal- strongly...
