Bar de España Mon — Restaurant in Tokyo

I am from Spain and the food here made me feel sorry for local people thinking this is actual Spanish food. The “gambas al ajillo” lacked all the flavour characteristic of them and on top of it they didn’t even use olive oil. The “patatas bravas” was nothing like in Spain, completely wrong ingredients and flavour, I feel scammed. At least the cheese and jamon were not bad, but that is just because it requires no cooking skill whatsoever.

Deceptive marketing on the menu items. We were three people and ordered one thing each. One paella but they charged us for three and the portion sizes were abysmal. We also ordered other pieces of meat which were severely overpriced. Additionally, they charged us table fee which was not obvious when entering. The price range listed on Google is misleading. Only eat here if you are ready to eat severely overpriced but okay food. We paid 9000 yen and left hungrier than what we were when we entered. NOT...

A lively bar/restaurant with a Spanish theme. We only called in for a drink after dinner and were very pleasantly surprised. It was very busy which added to a nice atmosphere. Although we didn't eat the food looked good. Nice draught beer and selection of Spanish wines. Well worth a visit...
