Please note that this review is not about Beasty Coffee as a whole; it is a review about one single item. The coffee shop itself is trendy and awesome and I would have a good time chilling out there. The people who were drinking coffee and eating desserts seemed very happy with their orders. Unfortunately, the dirty chai—the item I ordered—was disappointing beyond words. I could barely taste the chai and I am pretty sure they forgot to add espresso to the drink. Seriously, I felt like I was drinking warm milk with sprinkled cinnamon where someone had randomly added three peppercorns. Worse yet, I had spent 700 yen for that warm, cinnamon milk. I also tried the seasonal coffee. While it did have some fruity notes up front, the end was a tad bitter. I'm not sure if that was due to the beans or how it was brewed. That's the only reason I'm docking a star from the food rating.
Apparently sandwiches are only sold in the afternoon, so I didn't get to try one but from what I've seen online, they...
