BOX cafe & space Omotesandoten — Restaurant in Tokyo

Trying to get a reservation for visiting Tokyo outside of Japan? Don’t bother, can’t make reservations from another country, when we got to Tokyo 4 days we got there before it opened and the signs came out everyday saying “fully booked, no walk ins”, wouldn’t let us see the store or anything, when trying to explain we can’t make a booking even though I tried the day the cafe started to take bookings (but because my IP was from outside Japan couldn’t book) the clerk just kept putting “sorry advance reservations only” on her google translate, so this place is only for Japanese people or people who have an address here, and yet we as foreigners get the bad name for being discriminatory, chance of a lifetime gone thanks to me not...

This place operates primarily (entirely?) as "collaboration cafe" with various anime and game titles. If you're just wandering around the area, looking for a place to eat, this is probably not it. If you're thinking of coming to a collab cafe - I came the last weekend of the Yuri on Ice cafe and everything ran pretty smoothly. We got in, got our food, and got our turn to purchases goods with really no problems. For a collab cafe, the food was actually quite good. Expensive for what it was, as always, but I'd actually be willing to order these dishes at a normal cafe.

Come early for your timeslot and just try to enjoy...

Went back in February for the Nyanko and Kuma Valentine cafe!

I loved the relaxing atmosphere plus decorations. Food was decent but price was a bit high for the quality (the strawberry cheesecake drink was definitely worth it though). My only main complaint is that all food comes out as soon as possible so by the time I finished my main dish the ice cream on my pancake had melted (the bottom of the pancake also got stuck to the plate).

Would definitely visit again for...
