CAFE iN (カフェイン） — Restaurant in Tokyo

I really liked this cafe. I think the interior is super nice. At first when I saw the prices I thought it was a bit expensive but then I saw this slice of a carrot cake I changed my mind. It was gigantic! It could easily feed not even two but 3 people! And it was n't just big, it was also tasty. I like the orange peel accent in the frosting and walnuts in the cake itself. As for the coffee, I got a simple americano to balance the sweetness of the cake (which by the way wasn't overwhelmingly sweet just big). I think the coffee was a bit pricey but it was good. You can taste the coffee but there is not bitterness like in many other places. Even when it got cold, it was still drinkable. I also thought that the service was great! Delightful desserts and drinks with an aesthetic vibe! They have an extensive menu so it was hard to choose what to get, but I ordered the Oreo cheesecake and peach iced tea, both were very delicious! I am definitely going to go back again, the atmosphere is so nice and I love the overall aesthetic of the cafe. Service was nice as well! This place has a good atmosphere. There are a lot of tables so it’s easy to get seats for groups of 2 or 4. There are a lot of drink and food options as well.

While the drinks were good, the desserts were not so good. The desserts seemed a bit old and stale. The matcha dessert was also more bitter than to be expected. I like matcha a lot and drink very strong matcha, but the dessert was still too bitter.

Still a cool place...
