Caffè Veloce - Ningyocho — Restaurant in Tokyo

First off, I wanted to note I was NOT a paying customer and I rarely leave reviews. But I need to write one for the negative experience I just had with one of its workers.

I came in on March 2, 2024 at around 3:50 pm. I entered the coffee shop and inquired with a male employee with glasses about a capsule hotel (9h 9 hours) and if he knew where it was. It was weird because Google Maps took me directly to this coffee shop, so this couldn't be the first time this coffee shop has had this question asked.

I asked if he knew where it was and showed him on the phone the address and the name of the hotel. He never looked at the phone and told me "no." I then said he "couldn't help me at all?" He looked me directly in the eyes and said "no, I can't help you," turned around and walked away. I knew by his tone that his english was above average, so I don't believe it was a language barrier issue.

I then left and found the capsule hotel I was looking for was a short 150 metres (2 minute) walkaway.

I get I was not a paying customer, but the coffee shop was not even busy, and Google maps took me there. Again, this can't be the first time they have gotten this question. The worker couldn't even be bothered to humor me and said he did not know where it was. The direct dismissal and unwillingness to help makes me question why this worker is even working a customer service based job. I'm sure this coffee shop is fine in every other way, but I just know I won't be visiting this nearby coffee shop during my stay...

週の真ん中水曜日の朝は、ベローチェでモーニングをしました。自宅から徒歩圏内に人形町店と堀留町店があるのですが、堀留町店の広々とした雰囲気が大好きで、普段はそちらばかり行っております。
