Drinks 4/5 The iced cocoa was honestly mostly ice cubes and a little, rather bitter, cocoa. However, I decided to just let the vanilla ice on top and part of the ice cubes melt before I tried again. This time the cocoa was delicious, saving it the four stars 😁 Would probably not order it again though as I felt the price for essentially mostly ice was unjustified.

Atmosphere 5/5 Modern atmosphere, it was nicely quiet with only a little background noise from people talking and quiet background music. If you don't mind that, it is a wonderful place to work or study whilst enjoying some lovely drinks and sweets.

Cleanliness 4/5 Everything is clean though especially the half walls and other decorative elements could use more frequent dusting.

Unfortunately the internet was fairly slow. I came here to work but it was just so annoying to deal with the internet speed that I left earlier than planned.

P.S in June 2021. I kinda like this underground place as a short-time shelter from the cold, heat, rain and sometimes the tiring people around. However, I am tired of witnessing some guy does an MLM initiation, or a business closure, against a clueless young man in front of my eyes 3 times in a row during my last 3 visits. The management should take action on it as I don’t like my coffee shop is functioning as vultures’ hunting ground. BTW, now they are serving the full meal menu and I am pleased.

Spacious and not too crowded most of the time, this un-connected underground Velo is kinda hideout or missed-out place in busy southern Shinjuku central. Pretty good experience. We are tourists from Florida USA and needed a place to rest from the hustle and bustle of walking like crazy all day. The wife had some flavored tea which was delicious, and some chocolate cake which was cold, and only so-so. I had the spaghetti,which I was reluctant to try,as I'm accustomed to typically American style spaghetti 🍝. However it absolutely delicious 😋. I was very impressed 👍 But the Coffee float I ordered wasn't what I expected. I was thinking it would be just coffee with ice cream in it,which it was.
