SURUGA-YA Shinjuku Marui Annex Store — Local services in Tokyo

Holy moly, it my favourite store ! So much cheap mech! I found lots of twisted wonderland mech there! Like a key chain is 300yen! Their twisted wonderland card is more expensive than in nakano boardway. Their card is like 100-200yen while nakano boardway card is 50yen to 150yen.

lol sadly I go to the store at 6pm so don’t have enough time to explore the big place!

I found a nendoroid that is cheap! Also from twisted wonderland series! Cheaper than what was sold in my country! It cost like $90 -$150 in my country, found a nendoroid cost $70!

I saw there is quite a lots of different series like gintama, jjk, Conan etc…

Also there is a tax free counter , you first have to pay your mech at the cashier first. I think must spent above 5000yen? I’m not sure but can ask the cashier , also ask the cashier where the tax free counter is. The cashier will most likely hand you a flyer to tell you to where their tax free counter is located at.

Good selection, but I don't know why they claim they close at 2100. The whole building was closed off besides the food and theater by 2000. The elevator they claim to need to use would not let you select their floor as an option. If they do close at 2100 they need to tell building security not to shut off the option into the floor if they are to be open until then. I wasted time and money to get back to that store just to not be able to get in.

I got there at 2010 to purchase a figure I saw earier in the day but didn't want to carry around as the box was huge but the security lady on the first floor denied it being open. And as I said the elevator was not letting us go to their floor. Stairs were closed off as well.

The only way they stay open until 2100 is if you get into their store before 2000. Or someone made a mistake and shut off the up elevator option too...

When I entered the store at my last day in Tokyo (and Japan) I was about to cry. I’ve seen dozens of Bookoffs/Hobbyoffs/AniAni/Animate and what not called of stores for nerds. But this was Anime and Games figures HEAVEN!

They got figures I’ve never seen before in all the other stores like from Final Fantasy or Persona. And some others for really fair prices! I saw stuff from JJK, Demon Slayer, Bleach, Spy x Family, Tokyo Revengers, Kaiju no 8, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Haikyu, Detective Conan, Dragonball, One Piece, Dragonquest, Nier:Automata etc (many more …)

And then there was the so called „Junk corners“ where you could find real treasures!
