French Toast? Yes, please. In Shinjuku and what other way to start off my meal here than French Toast.

-French Toast: One of the best! The french toast on its own is pure deliciousness! Crispy outside and custardy inside. Perfectly sweet and balanced flavor,

-French Toast Mix: Comes with blueberry sauce whipped cream, caramel sauce whipped cream and cinnamon apple (apple sauce). I liked the blueberry and apple toppings since they add a bit of tartness which adds another layer of flavor. I feel the caramel sauce makes it too sweet.

(2nd Visit)

-(Seasonal) Apple and Chocolate French Toast: Yum! The dark chocolate and tartness of the apple keep the flavors exciting, love it!

-French Toast with Caramel Sauce: Sort of an accidental order as I thought the Mix came with Maple Syrup, not Caramel Sauce. Again way too sweet. Still the plain french toast with whipped cream was delicious!

Conclusion: Super delicious french toast here, yes! Caramel was too sweet for me, but maybe people with a bigger sweet tooth than I will like it. I loved all the other flavors I've tried. People who don't like their french toasts custardy might be disappointed.

Would I go back? Definitely! Next time I'm in Japan.

Do I recommend this place? Absolutely! Although due to preference, some people may not enjoy the french toast here, but I'd say...

Had Fluffay French toast with Mandarin Sorbet (seasonal menu) 🍊🧇 and special brewed coffee, both of which goes together magically - though you can probably have the toast on its own and it'll still be delicious.

Acclaimed Tokyo's best french toast cafe (I can believe it!), and some might say World' best french toast! Step aside honeytoast! AALIYA's toast is so soft and fluffy (think, the french toast equivalent of the fluffy souffle pancake), it was probably corgi-butt-like milk/butter-bread shokupan 🍞, soaked in premium Hokkaido milk 🥛and special Japanese egg from a specifically sourced farm 🥚, fried in quality butter down to beautiful golden brown...🤤 just my imagination, I have no idea what their secret recipe is The thing melts in your mouth (seriously, you dont need teeth for this), so soft, they served it with butter knife.

Arrived at 10am on a Saturday and the place was packed. Got the last table for two in the corner before a queue started growing into out the door into...

-Spongy French toast. Towards the 3rd piece I gotten very full though. Mix French toast menu comes with 3 pieces of toasts + 3 "condiments": a minty apple/?pear jam, a vanilla ice cream with some blueberry preserves and my least favorite is the whipped cream with caramel sauce. Reasonable price of total 1760 yen with my cup of cinnamon cappuccino. small seating area of only 12-15 tables to cater 30-40 customers for full house. Customers started to Q up even before 8:30am, and that's on a Tue AM. Half of the restaurant filled up within 15mins of opening. But food comes out very fast. Each table turnover about 30mins. Mix of local and tourists customers. gd svc. Helpful and polite staffs. I couldn't use the QR code to order thus did via old fashion printed menu. requires minimum 1 item/drink per customer. restaurant is at basement level. Customers must be able to ambulate a flight of stairs of about more than 10 steps. No...

TLDR: French Toast is good, coffee is fine, but the service is ridiculous which ruin everything. Whole story: I went for a breakfast on Tuesday 1030am, queued for half hour to be seated. The service actually have something wrong. Initially, a 4person table is given to group of 2 person queue in front of me, which is fine as they came first. Then, Waitress asked whether bar table is fine for me group of 3, I said OK as I would like to have food asap. After we have ordered our food, they request us to move seat to the edge, as they have another group of 3 need to be seated on the bar table. Things start getting ridiculous. Slightly after, they give a 4person table to a single customer. Slightly after again, they give another 4person table to a single customer. I just cannot understand this ridiculous move. French toast is good, for the Panini, nothing special, can just skip it. Coffee is normal.
