Sushi was quite alright, but nothing special. Some pieces were very good, others lacked flavor, and a few had no taste at all. Overall, an average experience in terms of food.

However, what truly ruined the visit was the staff. This was by far the worst service we've encountered in Japan. The waiters were dismissive and unhelpful. They didn’t give us a chance to properly look at the menu, nor did they explain how the ordering system worked (guests are supposed to mark their choices on a paper sheet). Instead of assisting us, they looked down on us and made us feel unwelcome.

To make matters worse, we were the only table not given hand towels, while every other guest around us received them. This felt especially upsetting and disrespectful. We couldn’t help but feel that we were being treated differently because of our origin.

In addition, the staff was super slow, I had to ask for water at least 3 times before they brought it. If you dont eat all the rice they wont let you order more Sushi. Though they wont tell you this- good to know before hand. They will even charge you extra.
