Horrible service. My friends and I went for the Christmas A la Carte menu on the 25th. My friends food got their main dishes right away (before the appetizers). My main dish came 90 MINUTES after theirs. We asked several times (we had a native Japanese speaker in our group) and they would say things like “we’re going to start cooking it now.”
After an hour they tried to argue that I had never actually ordered my dish in the first place. We had ordered it and followed up as well. No apology. They also tried to give us an appetizer we didn’t order.
Then they said 5 more minutes but it was another 30 minutes until my food came. At 10:07 we asked about desserts and they told us that last order for desserts had already past. There had been no warning of last order and no apology for that.
At the cash register they tried to charge me the wrong amount and again our Japanese friend had to step in. No apology again. I used to go there for 6 years and I truly don’t recommend it now, it’s awful to arrive at 8 and not get your food until 9:45pm. Especially do not trust them with...
Read moreI love this place, but frankly ehm.. not for the food...
The ambience is just so nice... It is a beautiful restaurant with so many seating options, very beautiful design... okay prices... A mirage in messy Shinjuku...
Beers are good! and so cocktails... Starters are good too... Many options with their expression, like the Ratatouille... If you know the originals of this dish, try at this restaurant... You may love it or hate it!
Selections for main dishes are limited... Only 3 types of pasta and some other main dish... The problem is, the quality of the pasta definitely does not reach the price you pay for it... BUT this is something I find quite problematic in entire Tokyo... Most of the non-JP food is just average or below average but unfortunately Japanese people think that they are actually nice dishes...
Anyway, dessert selection is nice.. Does it feels like Brooklyn? Perhaps, maybe more like a hipster restaurant on the Manhattan island... But overall, definitely nice place to go for a date or...

❗One downside: you can’t order items from the breakfast or dinner menu if you visit during lunch. You’re limited to the lunch menu, so keep that in mind.
The panini 🥪 set was delicious—an Italian bread sandwich with a lot Camembert cheese 🧀, ham, and nuts. It also came with fried potatoes 🍟 and two small pickles 🥒. The only drawback was that the ham overpowered the flavors of everything else a bit too much.
We also tried the salad 🥗 set. The salad was quite unique, featuring various greens, mushrooms, roots, and grains. It also came with a side of toasted baguette 🥖.
As for drinks, they have an extensive alcohol menu. We went with their recommended Brooklyn-style beer 🍺, and both the IPA and lager were great....
