【カフェとオフィスの理想的な融合・サービスには改善の余地あり】
At Caffice, I enjoyed a Matcha Latte in a setting that perfectly blends a café and an office. While the drinks are slightly on the expensive side, the relaxed atmosphere and ample seating options make it worthwhile. Each seat comes with a consent, and the roomy spaces add to the comfort.
The café uses carefully selected ingredients, which is evident in the quality of the drinks. With just one drink, you can stay for up to two hours, making it a great spot for work or study. Plus, there's free WiFi and a toilet inside the café for added convenience. It's also just a 5-minute walk from Shinjuku station, making it easy to access.
I'll definitely return when I need a cozy place to work or unwind.
UPDATE: Visit number 2
Caffice is a reliable spot for remote work, leading me to come back for a second visit. Unfortunately, the service during my visit left much to be desired, especially by Japanese standards.
Despite standing near the counter upon arrival, I wasn’t greeted or seated by the staff, as they were chatting amongst themselves. While the self-seating system and tablet orders eliminated the need for direct interaction, the inattentiveness was hard to overlook. Throughout my stay, the staff continued their conversations or were glued to their smartphones, which felt uncharacteristic for Japan’s typically high service standards. A simple "irasshaimase" would go a long way in improving the overall experience.
That said, the facilities make this an undeniably practical choice for those needing a quiet place to work. I’ll likely return for the convenience, but I hope the staff can refine their customer service skills to match the otherwise excellent environment.

Read moreGreat to come for sitting down to work, draw, study, etc. Plenty of others doing the same. Seats have outlets and even a LAN port if you bring your own cable. Wi-Fi available as well. Large windows for lots of light and when it gets dark the lighting is still good with how many lamps and lights they have. If there is a wait there a couple seats sit sit while waiting, but like moves quick. Staff will come to seat you. Once at the seat there is a little button to press to ask the staff over to order. They may have an English menu but I didn't ask. The ones at the table were only in japanese. Biggest con is the price. 810 yen for a latte. I get that they want you to pay for the seating however I would rather pay a 300/500 yen cover charge and then have normally...
Read moreOne of the best places to work remotely in Tokyo, especially considering that these types of spaces are not common in my experience.
The food and drinks are good, and yes they’re more expensive compared to other coffee shops but you get wifi and a workspace so the markup is fair imo.
My laptop didn’t connect to the wifi for some reason (my husbands laptop had no issue and neither did both of our phones) but they had an adapter and a LAN cable ready and free of charge.
Overall great experience and will def return if I need a quiet remote...
