CIBI Tokyo Store

This summer, I discovered this stylish cafe that blended into the downtown area where I used to live 13 years ago, and decided to drop in. It has a nice design and a comfortable space. I wondered if there was a cafe like this in a place like this once, and when I looked it up, I found out that this is a new cafe and the main store is in Melbourne, Australia. For food, I had Mom's scrambled eggs with homemade natural yeast bread. For drink, I had a long black, which is typical coffee style of Australia. Mom's scrambled eggs are fluffy and creamy, with a unique flavor of soy sauce and sesame in the sauce, but it's fragrant and very delicious. I thought it was a nice collaboration between Australian and Japanese flavors. The chewy, slightly sour natural yeast bread went well with the scrambled eggs. I usually drink drip coffee, but I had a long black while thinking of the city of Melbourne where I once visited. It was a great cafe!
