As we were famished from our long flight, we probably took longer than most to find the entrance. After seeing a billboard with the name of Cocktail Works directing us up a short & narrow stair case, we apprehensively opened the door to an uncertain future. Our worries were quickly quelled by the serene, ambient lofi jazz music and cozy mahoghany-esque furnishing blanketed by dim, candescent light. A bartender promptly and politely greeted and guided us to a table. He was very accommodating of my rudimentary Japanese and was diligent in communicating with us the best he could. Because of that, we felt very welcomed and at ease. All of the drinks were enjoyable with unique and balanced flavors. The drinks that mesmerized us the most were the fruit cocktails. We tried all of the ones listed on their blackboard and we would easily be happy reordering any of them. For a whole week before we departed home, we would always order, when available, the heavenly musk melon cocktail. When out of stock, the grapes were our next go to. On occasion, we enjoyed the pasta of the day, which was often red sauced pasta. Throughout our trip, we visited several high end cocktail bars in Tokyo and later Kyoto/Osaka, but when each night neared its conclusion, we always sought the fruit cocktails made by the two kind bartenders we saw every night. Though there were some nights where the occupancy was near max capacity, the bartenders always remained kind and playful the more we frequented the venue. I would whole heartedly recommend Cocktail Works to anyone seeking a cozy respite from the bustling city to refresh themselves with some amazing fruit cocktails.

Great cocktails and really awesome service. We popped in here for one drink and ended up having three rounds because everything was so good! I had the special strawberry cocktail with vodka and it was incredible. Thanks for a fun night!

The drinks are delicious and the waiter was very friendly. There is a separate cover charge, so the price is a bit high, but there is no other bar around here that is as good as this. It. I tried a fruit cocktail and it was really good.

The word “cozy” reminds me of home, a place that I feel comfortable, where the food is good & where you most want to be at the end of the day. Well the minute I entered this bar I felt at home, the cocktails were very tasty, the food was superb & the service was out of this word, I felt completely at home the minute I stepped in. I ended up going to Cozy 4 nights out of my 5 nights in Tokyo. Thank...

AVOID. Terrible experience. Very rude bartender. We were in the midst of a great Friday night till we made the sad mistake of entering this place. AVOID at all cost. There are far better places around the corner with better people behind the bar, and better drinks. PS, the cocktails were...
