Over the course of a little over three weeks spent living in Shimokitazawa I've tried around a dozen of different cafes in the area (certainly not all for sure!) and in my humble opinion this is simply the best place for coffee fans over here - in terms of both flavour and service. Wide selection of beans (all microlots), pleasant service, decent options for coffee. No milk options though, only regular milk. Credit cards accepted.

Perfection. A near ecstatic coffee experience. The nyeri hills espresso is probably the best cup of coffee I’ve EVER had. Seriously. This place compares favourably to SF favourites like sight glass, ritual & four barrel.

They roast their own beans and grind to order.

The venue itself is stunningly designed and tranquil. Cakes were innovative and delicious.

They also had a cool selection of books, jewellery and brewing equipment for...

Quaint coffee place with around 6 tables and 1 window seating. Staff were nice and friendly. Lots of information on the coffee and I ordered with the English drink menu. Cafe latte with the espresso of the day (650¥) was decent for a single shot. Didn't really care for the carrot cake which was too dense and flavourless for me. There's a policy of no phototaking within the shop for some reason,...
