Coffee Embassy — Restaurant in Tokyo

This cafe was such a great find on our recent trip to Tokyo. A quaint little place close to our accommodation (Monday appartments). The coffee is fantastic and the food was simple but lovely.

Service stands as the true hallmark of this establishment. The staff exemplify the legendary Japanese hospitality, displaying remarkable patience and warmth. Despite our limited Japanese language skills, we were met with gracious assistance and genuine kindness that transcended linguistic barriers.

The cafe's clientele appears to be a loyal community of regulars, a testament to its consistent excellence and welcoming atmosphere. While a minor concern exists regarding smoking, the cafe's superior ventilation system effectively mitigates any potential discomfort.

平日・休日問わずこの喫茶店の周囲は比較的静かなのですが、一方で飲食店があまり多くないこともあり、この喫茶店は昼食時間帯を中心に多くの人が利用しています。しかもそのほとんどがこの喫茶店の界隈に住んでいると思われる高齢の方です。 この喫茶店では喫煙が可能であるため、喫煙者にとっては居心地がいいかもしれません。禁煙席もありますが席数は少なく、且つ完全な分煙対策はなされていません。そのため嫌煙者にとっては非常に利用しづらいと感じるでしょう。また入り口には段差もあるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方も同様に利用しづらいと感じるでしょう。 給仕される料理やドリンクは、典型的且つ古き良き昭和の時代を彷彿させます。煙草の煙をくゆらせながら友人たちと食事と会話を楽しむ人が多いですが、一部の席の構成は隣通しが近く、一人でゆっくりと寛ぐには不向きな場合があります。

There are also steps at the entrance, so people with disabilities such as wheelchairs may find it difficult to use the restaurant as well.
