I do not recommend this overpriced overrated pizza place. This is not authentic pizza nor a restaurant. It’s a tourist trap.
My Japanese husband made a reservation for dinner. We arrived through the door. The oven is right there by the entrance and people were coughing without covering their mouths.
The server was putting hot pizza on a plate smaller than here hands with no ppe gloves on. Not washing hands after touching the pizza, serving it to a table then showing us a uncomfortable unromantic chair seat table. Even tho…When we reserved a booth seat. We asked for a booth again. So, she picked up the silverware with her dirty food hands then place them on a super tiny drink napkin. We asked for a pitcher of water because it’s easier. Server didn’t know what that was. Nor really spoke Japanese. Poor thing. She kept ignoring us after that.
The servers kept ignoring all of us customer tables on the second floor and we had to yell. That didn’t work.
So you have to go downstairs to get their attention for this overpriced, overrated, social media pizza place. 1 drink system per person.
Portions are weak compared to other Italian authentic restaurants in Tokyo prefecture. We ordered mixed salad but they were upset to put salad dressing on the side because I have allergies.
The hot food we ordered took an hour. Literally waiting for an hour for a hot appetizer and a pizza. Smh. This place is a nightmare. We tried to call them from upstairs again and downstairs but they kept ignoring us. Even tho we made a reservation.
When we finally got their Italian world championship pizza that they are so proud of, it was cold pizza.
Why are they charging 2600¥ for cold pizza? Tasted like cold 1999 day old college pizza. Salad was so so but bread appetizer was hard to chew, cold. And pizza was freezing cold. Knife and fork couldn’t cut it. The couple next to us couldn’t eat their crust. They couldn’t even finish their pizza either.
Definitely, two thumbs down, over rated and overpriced.
My advice, don’t waste your time with this place. It’s a rip off tourist attraction. Italian Pizza in an authentic oven doesn’t take 1 hour to cook. Nothing to...
Read moreWe are a Pizza lover and feel that we need to try the Pizza in Japan
This time we tried Da Giorgio ~ which is an authentic Italian Pizza restaurant after read the review and luckyly quite near from our hotel
Cesare Salad ~ Magnifique ! The Highlight of the dishes that we order
Pizza (forgot the name) ~ as it is just fine but nothing special (maybe this is the reason why we forgot the name of it)
nevertheless we enjoy this pizza
Last ~ The Signature Pizza ~ the pizza is rolled in a bite size with cheese melted rolling out
appearance wise looks ok ~ taste wise for me is too bland just like pizza dough and cheese and that is all
(Sorry for saying this) for us the signature Pizza is a let down

Overall :
We would like to compliment & say thank you to the Manager / Chef
as we are allowed to eat at the venue eventhough we don’t make reservation.

Second Visit It was late at night and we were suddenly craving pizza, but we were worried we wouldn’t be able to get a reservation. We called just in case, not expecting much— but luckily, they had a spot for us. Last time, we happened to walk by and were drawn in almost by accident…
This time, we made sure to arrive with empty stomachs. • Baked pizza with sausage, potatoes, and smoked mozzarella – ¥1,450 • Margherita D.O.C – ¥3,200 • Fondant au chocolat – ¥1,000
We were already impressed with the appetizers. Each ingredient was delicious on its own— the potatoes, the sausage, and the mozzarella— but together, they were just incredible. It was so good, we couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
We ordered the same Margherita D.O.C as last time. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s so good we can’t resist. You can really taste the cheese, and the crust is fluffy and light. It was gone in seconds.
We’d planned to have dessert from the beginning, and I had my eyes on the tiramisu, but to my dismay, it was sold out 😭 According to the staff, “It’s been a surprising day—desserts have just been flying out 😅.” So I went for the fondant au chocolat, which I’d been eyeing after seeing the people next to us enjoying it.
It felt a bit expensive too, but it was so good, it totally won me over. A warm, rich fondant topped with vanilla bean ice cream— and when I cut into it, the thick chocolate oozed out. It was divine.
My husband said it was probably his first time really tasting fondant au chocolat, and on the way home, he kept talking happily about how amazing it was.
Compared to last time, one thing that was a bit disappointing was the service—it wasn’t as attentive or polite as before. I suppose it depends on the...
