The staff were very friendly and the place was near Yushima and Okachimachi station (1 stop from Akihabara station, or you can walk there). Read moreNice place to stay with reasonable price. Great neighborhood to stay in as it is quiet close to the shopping districts & train stations, while still offering some solitude by being on the outskirts of it. The Keisei Skyliner station also happen to be in the area, which is convenient from those traveling to/from Narita.
Staffs were very helpful, and we can drop our luggages first if we arrive before check-in time. They offered complimentary tea & coffee. There's a shared kitchen on the lobby floor. We took the private room, and noticed that there were also some families doing the same, so it's def suitable for every one and not just backpackers. The sofa bed was comfy enough, however the bunk bed's mattress is too thin. Would also be nice to have a small, dim light as some sort of...
Read moreGood location and value for money at its low price. Neighborhood is quiet but only a few blocks away from accessible restaurants, izakayas, shopping malls, grocery. There are also several train lines around from 3 minutes away to maybe 15 minutes (Ueno station) but still a nice stroll. The building is old but the rooms are nice and clean (basic with bunk beds, no television) and have own private shower and toilet. They don't change linens daily but will take out the trash cans daily. There are also shared refrigerators on each floor and a common kitchen (though limited stuff and space) at a different floor. Akihabara is walking distance which is quite convenient for anime fans that my group was and so we frequented that area. I would definitely...
