After multiple bad experiences with Denny's in the US, I swore that I will never again step into one. That said, curiosity killed the cat and I really wanted to know what the ones in Japan was like. The menu was completely different from the one in the US, which is a GOOD thing because it is actually better! We ordered a whole bunch of food. The server was very friendly, playing peekaboo with my son. My expectations was low but this blew me out of the water! I did not expect a Denny's to taste so good. The parfait I ordered had fresh peach and tasted delicious! Actually one of the best I've had. Thank you very much! 💖

Food was ok. I got the tuna and rice with a side of noodles and was very happy especially with the udon. The pancakes where not what you hear of Japanese pancakes, they were not fluffy instead they were very dense. Definitely a good place for a fast breakfast as it is vonviniently open all day and service is fast. So you can have a good breakfast before catching an early train as most places in Japan don't open until 10 or 11. DO NOT expect the same me as in the US, this definitely more Japanese inspired even though they do have your typical egg and bacon dish. We just went for the Japanese style ones.

We’re from US and had to try Denny’s in Japan. It’s completely different than the offerings in the US. We came in craving burgers and skillets and there weren’t any in the menu. It was mostly Japanese food. So we ordered a club sandwich and a pork bowl with udon noodles. For dessert we had sundae with pudding topping. Food was decent for what it is and price is very affordable. You definitely get what you paid for. There is an English menu and ordering is through a tablet. Overall it was an okay experience to have overseas restaurants at a different country.

Not like the Dennys in the US. Which is fine. But on the menu it says that there is an American club. It is NOT an American club. It is basically a fried egg sandwich made to look like a club. Bread, fried egg, little bites of ham lunch meat, lettuce, tomatoes, and ketchup as the sauce. No cheese, no bacon, no real amount of meat. Again just an egg sandwich on bread. When you walk in they bring you to a table and point to a tablet. Everything is self service. Which if fine. The server was very kind. But no service was provided.

This was an interesting experience. We don’t have a Denny’s in Australia. It sounds from the reviews Americans want to eat the same stuff where ever they travel. This is not traditional Japanese. It is yum, but I personally prefer more traditional food at the really cheap prices in Japan. Despite this can’t fault the food and service is excellent. Weird up eat either a knife and fork again! Spent loads here compared to other experiences. Very odd to see the Aussie wine on menu, but couldn’t resist.
