Visited this restaurant with a local friend who wanted to try authentic Indian food and when the usual restaurant I visit in Tokyo was closed, I was reminded of Diya as many of friends had recommended this place as well.
They do have a lunch set menu which is cheaper but we decided to go for a-la-carte.
Ended up ordering pani puri, Amritsari fish tikka, Kerala mutton and chicken tikka masala, with laccha parantha and garlic naan.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the taste to be very authentic with a perfect blend of spices. The curry wasn’t sweetened like other local places and was quite delicious.
We also had tea and gulab jamun to end our meal, though I didn’t like the tea a lot. The gulab jamuns were sumptuous.
The staff is also quote hospitable and friendly, that made our experience more enjoyable. If you are looking for an authentic, fine dining Indian experience - this is...

Not an Indian atmosphere, but I'm not sure how to describe it. Feeling that it's more focused on drinking than eating. However I was there early so it was nearly empty. Already got a high four stars by throwing in a fancy little appetizer. It was a little hollow fried ball that you poured a kind of bean paste into. Quite tasty. The curry had a thick base and was spicy at the high end for a Japanese scale. Very tender chicken. The naan was flavorful and just slightly sweet. Service was excellent, though I'm not sure if they're that good all the time or just because it was quiet when...

They have course menus that look really good if you're not sure what you want to eat, but we wanted biryani, naan and some saag/palak paneer. We walked in for early dinner on a weekend and got seated, but the restaurant filled up pretty quickly, you may need to reserve during peak hours.
Staff were friendly and very attentive. The food we ordered was great, would definitely recommend coming here if you're feeling like Indian food and don't mind paying a little bit more for a better...
