Doutor Coffee Shop Kōjimachi Yonbanchō — Restaurant in Tokyo

市ヶ谷駅からもやや距離があり、周辺は企業や官公庁も少なく閑静な住宅が立ち並んでいるからか、平日・休日問わず比較的空いているドトールです。朝の時間帯こそ出勤客で混雑しますが、それ以外の時間帯は空いていて、特に休日は（近隣でイベントでもない限り）席の事前予約など必要ないくらいの空き様です。私が利用したタイミングもよかったからかもしれませんが、お喋りする客も多くなく、終始快適に過ごすことが出来ました。 店内は広めで、座席の数も充分にあります。喫煙室もあるため、喫煙者にとっては貴重なカフェの一つではありますが、空いている時間帯はそれ程気にならないものの混雑した時間帯は喫煙室の排煙システムが充分でない時があり、禁煙スペースにタバコの匂いが漂うことがあります。 給仕されるドリンクや料理の質、スタッフの接客対応の質は、他のドトールと遜色ありません。

This Doutor coffee shop is relatively empty on both weekdays and holidays, probably because it is somewhat far from Ichigaya Station and the surrounding area is lined with quiet residences with few businesses or government offices. Although it is crowded with commuters in the morning, it is empty at other times, especially on holidays (unless there is an event in the neighborhood), so much so that you do not need to reserve a seat in advance. Perhaps it was the timing of my visit, but there were not many people chatting, and I was able to spend a comfortable time there from start to finish. This cafe is spacious and has ample seating. The smoking room is also available, making it one of the most valuable cafes for smokers. Although it's not so noticeable during empty hours, the smoke exhaust system in the smoking room is sometimes inadequate during busy hours, and the smell of cigarettes sometimes wafts into the nonsmoking area.
